RelationSHIFT!
Relationships can be our greatest joy… and our worst nightmare!

They can give us so much… and can drain us so much!

And these extremes get amplified the closer or more intimate we are to the other(s). So this series is even more necessary in these more intimate relationships. At the same time, it is applicable to ALL our relationships, whether with colleagues, friends or family (excluding ‘Let’s Talk About Sex’!)

So, why are relationships so fulfilling, and then so often so challenging?

How could they be more fun? More meaningful? More in service of a good life, rather than a drain on it?

Communication always plays an important role. But it's not so easy, especially when we mislearn it, and are full of internal blocks, limiting beliefs and unconscious patterns. We have inherited harmful habits and stories about how to relate:

-
Obligations and expectations: What is and isn’t OK; what we should or shouldn’t do.

-
Confusion around giving and receiving

-
Blaming and shaming

-
Making demands and subtle (or even direct) threats

-
Fears about other’s (and our own) reactivity and intensity

We have thus lost access to our inner knowing about what we do and don’t want, and so struggle to express (and hear) desires and limits.

We need to return to our bodies, to bring our attention within, to the place we can trust. With just a small shift in intention and attention, we can reconnect with ourselves, our feelings, our longings and our values. From here, we can express ourselves with courage, clarity and care, and find ways to stay open to others despite their confusions, criticisms, or angry projections.

As we navigate these intricacies of human connection, these trainings offer a unique opportunity to deepen your understanding of essential relationship dynamics.

Each training, we learn and practice together, so we can then apply it in our lives and share with others.

Join us for all or any of these experiential explorations to uncover the keys that will open doors to more fulfilling and meaningful connections in your life.

"Donal is one of the best teachers I know, really coming from the heart and bringing huge experience, and he lives what he teaches too.
His NVC trainings take you beyond techniques and deep into human connection, empathy, and living more beautifully. There's always lots of laughter, wonderful people and a real life-enhancing magic at them

Training Content
Each training is standalone and independent of the others, so there are no overlaps or succession of content. At the same time, the natural accumulation of related skills means attending more trainings brings even more benefit.
No previous training (or relationship) experience required.

We bring the most essential principles and practices together, making it accessible and useful for everyone. The life skills we’ve always needed, but never received.

We balance teaching, practicing and facilitating individual and group processes, games, role plays, exercises, meditations and body/gesture based activities.

So, expect insights and heart opening; lots of fun and laughter; maybe tears and surfaced fears; building new friendships, community and supportive network. And all within a sweet, safe and cosy group field, so we feel held and cared for along our transformative journey.

Financial Contribution

We truly want to make these trainings available to everyone who would benefit, regardless of access to money.
We balance this with the need to sustain ourselves financially and to take care of the amount of resource (including time and attention) our team invests in supporting individuals.
So, these payment options invite the wider network to share the responsibility in giving access to those with less financial abundance.
We offer three prices (per half day training) to choose from depending on your available finances and enthusiasm for this intention:

For the first round (early bird) these are:

-
Supported 25€
-
Standard 30€
-
Supporter 35€

If you can afford and choose to pay at the 'Supporter' price, it allows us to welcome more people to attend while contributing less.

We do our best to practice what we preach in all aspects of this work, so, true to NVC, these are requests and not demands, thus we are open to dialogue. So, If you can’t afford to pay within this range, please contact us and we will try to work something out.
